London Council Reclaims Social Housing Property Linked to Sierra Leone's First Lady

Southwark Council Takes Action on Walworth Property

A social housing apartment in Southwark, London, has been reclaimed by the local council. The two-bedroom property in Walworth was previously under the tenancy of Fatima Jabbe-Bio, the First Lady of Sierra Leone. Southwark Council confirmed the repossession of the residence.

Reports last year, initially published by the Times, brought attention to Jabbe-Bio's tenancy. These reports indicated that despite holding the tenancy in London, she spent a significant portion of the year residing at the presidential lodge in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
